Abstract | This work presents the Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (DFA) method for anisotropic analysis in remote sensing data. Radar images derived from Radarsat-1 satellite were used for this analysis. The objective was to improve understanding about DFA operational capabilities for anomalies detection in remote sensing data applied to oceanography and petroleum exploration and production systems. The study area is Campos Basin located offshore of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The proposed method based on eulerian approach that combines geocoding oil platform points over near real time radarsat images. Using onnidirectional sampling over radar images, we applied DFA method for each radial direction time series. The DFA anisotropic shows anomalies direction and ranging over plataforms geocoding points Therefore the preliminary results indicate that the proposed method can be used for anisotropic analysis of the surface. |
